Production sites
Supplying world-leading products brings responsibility. That's why at Alo we are very careful to maintain control over the entire production chain, from material supply to front loaders and implements ready to deliver. It is also why we have decentralised production to ensure every item in our range is produced under specialised production management. This ensures quality is optimised in every detail as well as in the finished product. 

Our four production sites produces front loaders and implements with the latest technique. The plants are located in: 

  • Brännland, Sweden
  • Matha, France
  • Ningbo, China
  • Greenville, USA

Strategic Sourcing
The Strategic Sourcing department’s mission is to secure supply of high quality components or products, delivered in time at lowest possible cost to our production units globally. Our team consists of both Strategic Sourcing/Purchasers and Sourcing Quality Engineers. With strategic plans and analysis of the global market development, we always strive to find new opportunities for Alo to reduce cost and develop our supplier relationships in the right direction.

Manufacturing engineering
The Manufacturing engineering team has a mission to manage and support continuous improvement and standardization of work methods and tools throughout the group, with Safety and Quality always at the top of our agenda. The team is located at head office in Umeå and consist of nine Alo employed engineers, managers as well as a matrix organization with managers and engineers within our global operation.

About JOST Umeå

JOST Umeå is part of JOST Group which is a world-leading producer and supplier of safety-critical systems for the commercial vehicle industry. Under the umbrella brand of JOST, the comprehensive range of products is broken down into systems for applications on the road and in agriculture.

Within our Quicke brand we produce front loaders, implements, backhoes and control systems for tractors. The JOST brand includes fifth wheel couplings, landing gears, ball bearing turntables, king pins and container locks as well as components for alternating systems. Truck and trailer axles are also sold under the JOST brand. The tradition-steeped ROCKINGER brand comprises the core components of towing hitches, drawbar eyes and drawbars for transporters and trucks. TRIDEC offers steering systems and axle suspensions for trailers.

ROCKINGER products are also used in agricultural applications. Quicke has been part of the JOST family since February 2020 and specialises in agricultural front loaders and equipment.

JOST currently employs over 4,200 staff worldwide and has sales and production sites in over 20 countries and on all five continents. JOST has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
