How did you join Ålö? In a few words could you describe your main tasks in your position?
I joined Ålö in 2008 after a few years as a consultant and as an employee in a company that developed recycling machines.

I have worked at Product Development all these years at Ålö. The first years I worked with both implement and loaders. After a few years the team was divided into two groups; Implement and Loaders. I have been working with loaders and backhoes after that. I design the products in 3D CAD, perform the FEA analysis and the reports required for the CE-branding. I also handle a lot of the TSQ issues that are design related.

What type of background is needed for your job?
An engineering background is good but perhaps not necessary. A will to learn, being curious about new things and interested in mechanics is probably more important.

What’s the best thing about working at Ålö?
A varying job, every day is different. There is always a new and challenging project in the horizon.
